MEA 2009

Anty Randi and Uncle Reed gave me my bday present when I went to G and G's last weekend. It's a Red 4 wheeling jacket to match my Red 4 wheeler. Love it!

Grandma and the kitty. They named her "Lucky" cuz it's pretty lucky that they heard her outside and rescued her from the woodpile.

Gma fed her milk for 3 days in a row and finally Lucky came close enough for Gma to snatch her up.

They said they just had to keep her because "the kitty fell in love with them."

Yeah, I'm sure that's what happened. ;)

My 8th Birthday

Can you believe I am already 8 years old? Crazy, right? I had a really nice birthday. I got to spend the morning with my Dad and he made me an awesome homemade double decker chocolate cake! He gave me a new game for the Wii so I had a lot of fun playing that. Then Mom picked me up and we opened gifts at her place. Then I had swimming lessons and after that we met my buddy Winston at Space Aliens! Gosh I love that place. And after that, we went to the movie G-Force in 3D! It was super funny and Mom especially loved the glasses. Aren't they cool? Thanks to everyone who wished me a happy birthday! I had a great day!

You'll never guess...

Guess what? When I was home for the fair, my Grandpa and Grandma P gave me my birthday present a couple weeks early. Here's how it went down....

My mom came in the house and just said "Hey Parker, come outside and play for a while." So I said, "OK" and got my shoes on. Grandpa came in just I was putting on my coat, and I asked him, "Hey Grandpa, can we go for a 3-wheeler ride?" He smiled and said, "Sure!" So we went outside and there waiting for me was.... my very own 4-wheeler. I didn't quite understand it at first. But then Grandpa said, "Now you can ride this one and I'll ride mine." And then I was like "NO WAY!" It was so awesome. As most of you know already, my Grandparents are THE BEST. (The Grandparents on BOTH sides of my family of course. I love you too Grammom and Papa!!)

Sheila, this one's for you.

I know it has been a while since we have posted (Sheila), but we have had a very busy summer. My Mom did her 3 week internship in June, and then worked full time at a clinic here in town. I spent a lot of time with Dad this summer which was great and I also spent some time at Kidstop. My most recent excitement was a trip up north for the FAIR! If you know me at all, you know I LOVE to ride rides. So, Grandma and Grandpa got me a wristband and I rode rides all Thursday night with Grandma while Mom went to the Demo. You can see cousin Ryan's cool orange truck at the top of this post. Isn't it awesome? It has the horn too, just like the General Lee car in that old show "Dukes of Hazard." (I haven't seen the show, but Mom says she had a big crush on Bo and Luke Duke when she was a little girl.) Too much information, Mom!
